In contrast, ACELL INDUSTRIES LTD has invented a new composites moulding method allowing ACELL INDUSTRIES LTD to stand out from its competitors and provide the construction sector with high-tech products that otherwise would not be possible with traditional methods.
ACELL INDUSTRIES LTD explored traditional SMC as a skin to use with ACELL FOAM™ and then, developed a new method and process called ACELL MONOLITHIC MOULDING PROCESS™ that is becoming a serious alternative to traditional materials in terms of productivity, cost efficiencies and product properties. ACELL MONOLITHIC MOULDING PROCESS™ involved a great deal of the company’s effort and skill for more than two years.
During the process cycle SMC becomes liquid and penetrates into the open cell structure of the foam creating a true monolithic structure. The composite panel is moulded and finished on both sides in one single operation.
